Oriental Fan

I am a fan of the oriental style cards although i'm never quite happy with the end results on the ones i do make. I made this one the other week using 3 of the same fan images to make a larger fan, i have embossed the images and used 3d foam to stick to the card. I have also used a cherry blossom stamp for the background of the card and finished it off with some black line peel offs.

Some Male Cards

I've made 2 Father's day cards recently and also a birthday card for my dad.

Tilda stamp images

This week i have playing with some Tilda images that some one kindly sent me from one of the forums im a member of. I've had great fun colouring them in and have come up with a few cards so far.

Female 30th Birthday

Have just finished making this card. Have used my new Perfectly Paisley embossing folder and some pink pearlescent card. Some of my new paisley Doddlebug paper which i've used to cut the butterflies out using a die for the cuttlebug. The Penny Black bear has been coloured in using water colour pencils then matted onto the same pink pearlescent card. I've doodled a border around the bear. Finished off with some flowers and brads and peel off stickers at the top.

New stash

I treated myself to some of the new Cuttlebug embossing dies the other day and some of the older ones too. I also spotted some of the nice new Doodlebug papers so brought a few of those at the same time and it all arrived today. :)

Another male 30th birthday

It seems i have quite a few big milestone birthdays this year and mostly male ones. Any way, to make this card i have used the masculine papers from the Dovecraft range along with some plain blue pearlescent paper. To make things a little different i've used a circle rather than my conventional rectangle to matt my Penny Black birthday dog which i have coloured in with my H2O's. I've used some ric rac at the top of my checkered paper and some birthday hat peel offs to coincide with the hat on the dog and also peel off wordings and numbers.
