Weekend creations

After spending quite a while on my calendar i couldn't be bothered with much crafting for the rest of the weekend. But i did manage to make 2 very quick cards. Both for challenges over on the DoCrafts forum.

Calendar 2009 June to December. All Finished!

Well i've been spending every spare moment on this and I have just finished it. Think i may have used one too many embellishments as it bulges quite a bit, but i'm pleased with the end results.

2009 Calendar January to May

I have finally started on my desktop callendar this weekend. This is my progress so far. I'll hopefully get to do a little bit more next weekend. I'm sticking with the Penny Black theme. All the images i'm using are stamps i have rather then images i've received in swaps.

DoCrafts Prize arrived

I received my prize today for winning the sketch challenge over on the DoCrafts forum. It consisted of lots of Christmas goodies, mainly stickers and some lovely papers and vellums.

I've made all my christmas cards now so i am putting up for next years christmas cards!

Exciting news for today

My card below, the black and white one with the cow..... well i won the sktech challenge on clarebears blog from DoCrafts, i was so pleased as it was the first time i had entered it. I can't wait to see what the prize is going to be. Will let you know and take some pictures when it arrives :D

2 new cards

Both of these cards have been made using sketches from the DoCrafts forum. I've finally got some EZ Mount so have been able to use one of my new Sugar Nellie stamps. I love this image, very cute. I've coloured it in using my Twinkling H2O's and used Dovecrafts black and white papers. The second is Hero Arts images coloured in with H2O's again, K&Co papers and Prima flowers.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

On the Penny Black Saturday challenge blog this week, we were given the challenge of making a sparkly card. Ideally fireworks related but i was a bit stumped on that one so i made a christmas card and put some glitter on the hat of the cat here.

Christmas cards finally finished

I've been busy this weekend making the last few christmas cards i had to do. I've stuck with square cards for work cards and Penny Black images. Only had about 45 to make which isn't many compared to most but i'm glared there all done now.

Card for challenge on Do Crafts forum

Loretta on the Do Crafts forum gave us this challenge last Monday. I made this although i went for a square card rather than a rectangle one. This is the layout,

Sketch Saturday challenge

Over on the Sketch Saturday challenge blog this week, the challenge is to make a card using this layout.

Here is the card that i've made. I've used papers from Papermania along with Anitas sticky ribbon and finished off with a Penny Black image coloured in with Twinkling H2O's and a stardust Sakura pen for it's wings. And finally i've used a snowflake brad in the top left corner.

Even more stash!!

I ordered 8 Sugar Nellie stamps from http://www.funkykits.co.uk/ on Wednesday and they arrived this morning. I've never used them before so i'm looking forward to having a play once i've brought some EZ mount which i forgot to buy. Doh! Here are the ones i got.
